Jamie and Lucia married in September this year and the day was perfectly planned with minimalist touches.
'We met at work and we got engaged in 2013, just before we found out we were expecting a baby!'
'We had to plan it all remotely as we are living in Amsterdam and
wanted to get married in the UK. Since it was quite a
small celebration, it took us just 3/4
months to get it all sorted.'
'We didn't have a particular style, we just knew we wanted it to be
small and intimate- we love the New Forest and were lucky
enough to find a small hotel which was perfect for
the occasion.'
'We shared out the different jobs when it came to planning and we did a lot of the styling ourselves. A lot of searching online for ideas and a few personal touches.'
'We had a fantastic day and we were so glad to have our family there to
share it with us and the best part of our day was after the ceremony when we could relax and begin the celebrations.'
I loved the process of having my dress made by Chaos-it is lovely to know that you're going to have a dress that is exactly
what you want and that no one else has. I sent Frances a few pictures/ideas and
felt really happy when I got the sketches back, they were exactly what I had
pictured in my mind. I loved my dress!
Lucia's gown was a silk crepe shift dress with a Chantilly lace overlay and embellished belt detail.
Lucia was our first Bride based in the Netherlands so it was a bit of challenge coming back and forth for fittings but we managed it! We are so glad she ended up with a simple dress that she felt great in and wish her and Jamie and their new baby all the best.
Frances and the Chaotic team.
